Carnival Q&A

The Halloween What?  The annual PGPA Halloween Carnival is an awesome afternoon for PG students of all ages.

What's Happening at 12:30? The Lower School Students will walk in a parade around the green, beginning with the First Grade, who will be escorted by our Seniors. They will be followed by grades 2-4.  It's ADORABLE and should not be missed!

When Does the Carnival Actually Start? Immediately after the parade, at 12:30.

Who Puts All Of This Together? YOU DO!  The PGPA is entirely parent volunteer run and we all pitch in and help set up the carnival the day before and day of the actual event.  We could USE YOUR HELP!  Sign up to volunteer by clicking on the "Volunteer" button!  It's a great way to meet new people and get involved in the school! Click HERE to volunteer.

Who Purchases Wristbands? While most popular among Lower School kiddos, anyone can purchase a wrist band.

*****$25 LS band gets you access to all games, inflatables, cake walk and 4 Mystery Treats

*****EXTRA LS $10 “More Mystery Treats Please” band receives 4 extra Mystery Treats.

*****$25 MS “Middleween” band gets you access to the school carnival PLUS exclusive privileges to the Middle School area!    Click HERE to purchase Wristbands.

What are "Mystery Treats"?  They are bags filled  with fun stuff like candy, pencils and other ghostly goodies.

Who Provides Mystery Treats?  YOU DO! We ask that every Lower School parent send in 8 Mystery Treats per child.  Please see the "Mystery Treat" handout above for guidelines.  Click on the image. It will pop up into a printable-PDF form. Or Click HERE

Will I need Cash? Short answer: YES! We will have food, snow cones, cotton candy, candy apples and several cash-only features like The Raffle!!

Do I Need To Stay with My Child? If your kiddo is in the 3rd grade or younger,  YES!  Middle and Upper School may be picked up after the Carnival at 3:30. Click HERE for the PG Lower School Policy.

Can I Bring Younger Siblings? By all means, YES!  Just be sure to purchase a wristband for all kids attending!  In fact, ALL O'Quinn Students are invited to attend the Carnival, even if they do not have older PG siblings. Children under 2 are free!

What If I Have More Than One Child Purchasing Wristbands?  That's fine.  Purchase online by clicking on the link above.  Wristbands will be delivered to each individual child's homeroom.

What If I Forget To Buy Wristbands Before the Carnival?  No problem.  We will be selling them at the Information Table at the entrance to the Carnival.

eWhat If My Child's Homeroom Teacher Doesn't Have His/Her Wristbands?  If there is a mixup, we will have a master list of everyone who purchased wristbands.  You may pick them up at the Information Table at the Carnival.

Where Do I Park?  There will be members of the PG Facilities team on the grounds to direct parking near the Lower School.

Who Cleans It All Up? WE DO!  And we need your help!  All of this fun comes from a lot of hard work and we cannot do it without you.  Please consider signing up for the cleanup shift!  Tearing down cobwebs is actually very cathartic!!! Click HERE to volunteer.
